Adware may be unpleasant , and in the last couple of years of internet record much of adware's operative characteristics have begun to follow spyware, which is much more of a threat. Adware that is sent in the form of email sometimes tells businesses when you opened the email, how long you looked at it, what you did with it (probably junked it!), in what country, and from what IP address.
