Data salvaging is the action of hard drive data recovery from wrecked, damaged, inaccessible or failed primary media when it is unable to be accessed normally. The damage could result from logical damage to the file system or physical damage to the storage device which prevents it from being accessed by the host operating system. More often then not the data recovery is salvaged from storage media formats, like RAID, DVDs, storage tapes, hard disk drives, CDs, and a number of other devices. |
